Where purity shines on white walls
Meet me in the white city
And I will light you a candle when the shadows fall
Why a candle, you ask
With the sweetest of smiles on your face
But it is not your smile that steals my hope
It is your fearful eyes, wrapped in white lace
When the shadows fall in the city of white
Remember the candle, the candle that I have promised
For, the unknown becomes the known in the lack of light
And the shining walls of purity shine no more
Meet me in DC
