Things sixteen-year-olds
Shouldn't have to deal with
Tomorrow might be better
As today is all a blur
But today will soon be yesterday
And tomorrow will be now
Smiles in the future
Maybe, maybe not
Forever is a long time
No time for looking back
If yesterday was bad
And the day before that was horrible
And today is definately a blur
What will tomorrow bring?
Fear holds us back
And fear keeps us going
Tears make life easier
And scary is the thought of never knowing
Being sixteen is great
And messy and hard all at once
