Give Up Her Love
He said he loved her,
He said his love was true.
He said,"I could love no other, but you."
She said she loved him,
She said her love was true.
She said,"I could love no other, but you."
What a beautiful couple.
Am I right?I'm wrong.
This "true love" didn't last long.
Not long after all this was said,
she woke up to find him not in his bed.
She searched the house, but all she found
was a note saying he may come back around.
Today he's still gone.
He left her to fawn,
over their memories made.
She cries over that note he, so carefully laid
on the table
on that night he was able,
to give up her love.
