You came into my life
You came into my life
just like a rainbow,
A promise of light and happiness
After the storm.
If only I had remembered
that rainbows fade,
promises are broken,
and darkness steals in, as
Shadows dim the clouds silver linings
to gray.
But I have discovered
That even in darkness
there is a quiet beauty
In the kiss of the wind,
the murmur of the stars,
and in the knowlege that night is not forever,
and time will enevitably
bring back the light.
