ODE TO A TREE
whose leafs are lush and green
whose branches soar to the heavens
reaching, trying to scrape the sky
and in the winter snow you show off your fresh coat of white. And in the spring when you sprout flowers of beauty. I love you tree. And when fall comes and your leaves show independence of colors and birds and squirls come to gather in your beauty. I love you tree.
