Oh Heaven
Oh Heaven, what have I done?
The light at the end of the road has faded,
leaving me to my thoughts and sins.
The 11th hour is near as time moves onward,
like venom coursing through my existence.
Never shall the angel’s prayer gloss over my ears,
nor take part in any joy that the sky may bring.
I shall not be remembered but for the ache I gave,
not a thought be summoned for my achievements.
My name will be whispered in the darkest Hell,
An adage for the wicked deceivers that feed on death.
I never wanted to become this or see my creations,
The stars shouted I am predestined to be the bringer of malice.
Oh Heaven, what have I done?
