Hallucinations
Hallucinations are like brightly colored rubber bands- the ones that go around your braces
They’re distracting, eye catching
You totally forget about them until you see them sitting on your desk
Or floating through the sky
But when you have them, it’s easiest just to keep your mouth shut
Until the hallucinations go away
Or you take out the rubber bands
And you forget about them until you go through your day and realize that something’s missing
