No One Knows
A cry out for help
A tear in her eye
She fakes a smile
Anyone who sees her sees nothing more
Nothing more than a pair of blue eyes
Nothing more than a great big smile
There is more to it though
Beneath those eyes is a drive
Past that smile is a voice
She wants to speak out
Speak her mind
She wants to be herself
But she is afraid
Afraid of being vulnerable
Afraid of letting go
Letting people see the real her
The free yet old spirited girl
Cautious but open-minded
She longs for someone to understand
Understand her and her reasoning
But no one ever really will
