A Bad Day
A BAD DAY
I see the church of holiness
I see trash cans with ants crawling craving for something sweet
I see people exhausted sitting on benches
I smell fart and in small voices it didn’t come from me
I smell lotion mixed with sweat
I smell perfume the irritating kind my sister sprays
I smell men’s deodorant the cheap kind little immature boy’s steal
All the smells of a lot of people bunched together
I hear annoying dogs barking
I hear construction men banging on roof tops
I hear gossip, yelling, and whispering voices
BUT MOST OF ALL I FEEL THE ANGER INSIDE OF ME BUILDING UP WANTING TO GO BACK HOME!
