The first time we were together,
We knew we wanted to be
Tia and Rozie forever...
"Rozie, Rozie! Don't fall in the pond!"
Scampering off to infinity and beyond.
CREAK!
CLANK!
BANG!
The metal swingset chains
sent a sense of freedom
flooding through our veins.
CREAK!
CLANK!
BANG!
Speed it up, spin us faster!
The merri-go-round gifted us now
with a sweet sense of dizzy disaster.
My freedom and disaster moved away
a million miles
but to this day i can picture
the sparkle in his eyes when he'd smile.
