Alas, dreams singing these solemn songs
Positive reinforcement for solemn reality
Shall they be wise and heed these wrongs
Or succumb to the rotting flesh of humanity
Shall they who adheres to these sacred laws
Conform within minds of pure degradation
For absence remain dark although light calls
For bringing they forth to simple observation
Shall they who sees what so many cannot
Render this knowledge wholesome and ripe
Or shall they waste what cannot be bought
Thus, instead bear excuses like a tiger stripe

The author's comments:
Speaks about how many people waste their potential, making excuses for what they cannot do or what they won't do instead of just getting off their knees and doing it, making things happen instead of talking about it. No Excuses.
