Pitter Patter
Pitter patter of the rain,
The soft, sweet sound numbs the pain.
The darkness, so serene and still
Makes it easy not to feel.
Pitter patter falls the rain,
No two drops are quite the same.
Gently dropping from the sky,
As each tear falls from her eye.
Pitter patter goes the rain,
The way it feels just has no name.
Soaking in her very skin,
Screaming, let the storm begin.
