Broken Friendship
Shadows falling, falling, fall across my face.
Clouds appear from all directions
Take away all satisfactions
Of the things we had achieved, the things we had created.
Friends, forever? So she said.
All the things she said were lies
Now our friendship she denies
All the laughter that we shared, echoes of the past.
From two peas in a pod, to just a face in the crowd
Late night convos gone forever
That perfect friendship now disheveled
Longed for what, for now, has passed, never to return again.
