To when I only wore dresses
With ribbons around my
Back
Take me back
To when Popsicle stains
Edged the sides of my lips
It’s a fact
That every day people wonder
What might have been
And then
They want to go
Back
Back to
Long summer days and winter nights
Waiting for snow
Waiting for Santa
Teddy bears macaroni and cheese
Colors and numbers
Hide and go seek
Take me
Back to the me
I used to be
Back then

Aww, this was sweet. I think if you put a bit more imagery in this piece (for example, describe the popsicle stains or the winter nights), you could create a fabulous poem that the reader can see in his/her mind.

This was so amazing!!! I think it's so relatable... And so many people feel this very longing to go back when times were more simple and, through childhood eyes, perfect. The feeling that you portrayed beautifully!!! Well done!
