At a house party
Someone tucked a pink pill in her hand
And told her that it would help her
She trusted him
And told this really cute guy how beautiful the color, green, had sounded
He stared at her
And he didn’t need to say anything
‘Cuz she’d already penetrated his thoughts for the ugly truth
And the part that frustrated her the most:
She could barely comprehend what quite seemed to be the problem.
