Music fills my ears
And makes me forgot
The pain my heart is
Suffering because of you
It embraces me
Making me feel whole
Like you never will
The sound surrounds me
Making my heart dance
Because it blocks you out
Like I never knew you
The beat is numbing
I can barely feel
The ache of my heart
I hear the guitar
And think to myself
Why deal with you
When I’m already in love
With music
