"I am Happy to The Point of Fear" -Ralph Waldo Emmerson

That straight jacket feel,
Where you just cannot move,
You try to escape,
Like theres something to prove,

But As the minutes go by,
You know that you wont,
you are stuck where you are,
you'd leave, but you dont,

the memories like buckles,
the lonelines like fabric,
as you struggle, you sweat,
with the effort, so hectic

Its tight, and its hot,
The pressure to much,
Waiting, and trying,
With much reason to rush.

You want to get out,
to be rid of frustration,
You struggle but feel,
you are trapped in damnation.

Please Get me out,
Just unhook the buckles,
Take off that fabric
thats confining my knuckles,

Let me break free
of the pain that i feel,
Its hard in the straight jacket,
the metaphor thats So real

I feel so trapped.
I cant even move,
Is there hope of ever living?
Of ever proving what wasnt proved?

I dont want to feel this,
Or live in my straight jacket,
Keeping me helpless,
I can cause little racket.

I cant even cry,
For the help that I need,
for the friend, the assistance,
so loudly I plead.

But they, they have tried,
To free me of this mess...
But only I can release me.
From this straight jacket.
