Jerry meets Penny
Both into all that is trendy
Meant to be at first sight
Would talk on the phone all night
Saw each other everyday
Soon in the same bed they lay
Got so close but they said nay

Same old story out of a movie
Same old ending it gets worn out

Girl meets boy
Falling in love at first sight
Try to be cool and coy
Then they have a big fight
Drift away, until each other they miss
One fights for the other
Win her back, easy and bliss
Then a happy ending they uncover

Penny is suspicious of Jerry
So many excuses he’d carry
Until she caught him red handed
With some woman, easy and red headed
So she left with some choice words
Jerry ,to mad to follow her across the world

Same old story out of a movie
Same old ending it gets worn out

Girl meets boy
Falling in love at first sight
Try to be cool and coy
Then they have a big fight
Drift away, until each other they miss
One fights for the other
Win her back, easy and bliss
Then a happy ending they uncover

A few years go by
Jerry builds up the courage to try
To win Penny’s love back

The only way to get back on track
To go find her and apologize
By his love she’d be hypnotized

Same old story out of a movie
Same old ending it gets worn out

He travels all across the plain
He walked, and took the train
Backpacking with nothing but her picture

Asked everyone if they had seen her
Finds her address
Hesitant but never the less
Knocked on her door hoping she wouldn’t lag
He opens the door and there’s a body bag

Same old story out of a movie
Same old ending it gets worn out

Girl meets boy
Falling in love at first sight
Try to be cool and coy
Then they have a big fight
Drift away, until each other they miss
One fights for the other
Win her back, easy and bliss
Then a happy ending they uncover

This is the real story
Of a boy and a girl
Their relationship was stormy
Wait until one is old and the other gone
To realize they were meant to be
Their story is more interesting to me
