Ashen Legend

And over the bitter sky,

glittering stars cry for her..
And under the bitter sky,
Salty waters fray for her..

And her long, ashen hair, frail,
her locks delicately dovetailed.
Hides the glimmer of immortal tears
that sting for her.

She lowers her patient grey eyes,
waiting for the sailor of her past,
Her life long love,
to return for her.

With a heavy heart, the legend grows.
Comes and goes,
As fast as the ocean's water flows,
that continues to converse low.

And the ripples of every individual swell,
watched her face, as it fell;
As prussian as the tides,
that rise and fall for her.

Even the ocean can see
The transparent phantom that grieves,
For the love of Poseidon
...he betrayed her.
