Daddy's Masterpiece
Daddy, I'm so sorry
For what I did before
I'll gather all my happiness
And leave it at your door
Cause the world keeps changing
And I keep on moving
But you keep on staying the same
I'm sorry for all these years
I drugged you through
And the words
I'd screamed out, too
I really didn't mean it
Is it too late to take it all back?
Cause my head is spinning
And it hurts like a heart attack
I pulled out all of my memories,
Calamities and insanities
And compiled them,
Reconciled them,
And retired them
Into a masterpiece
