I Can't Tell
I couldn't tell,
That day you came home.
I couldn't tell,
That where crying.
I didn't know what he did,
But I saw a bottle.. With out the lid.
Later that night,
Through the house's silent sleep.
I listened for fighting,
I couldn't hear a peep.
The next day,
I heard the fight.
It shook the walls,
I walked in, to see what they would say.
I knew he would lie to me anyway.
I still can't tell,
Not even to this day.
Why this fight happened today.
