The angel and the demon,
this is my mystery,
and I feel myself dreaming,
I want to lose this history,
As the cut grows deeper,
this shattered shell,
and the city they call Rune,
I cant recall,
but Im not afraid,
this is our call,
in this world, constrained,
this hallowed imagery,
its lost energy,
as the cut grows deeper,
this shattered shell,
and the city we call Rune,
may you die with me,
in this unknown world,
in this darkened city,
the black, colors swirled,
an undiscovered dent,
as the cut grows deeper,
this shattered shell,
and the city we call Rune,
I come form this story,
and ripe is my mind,
yet may you die with me,
this darkened grey,
in the city we call Rune.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece when I was 11, and just recently uncovered it in one of my notebooks. Ive used it to inspire my seires of books (Rune being the main idea behind one the books) and I thought the entropy behind it was interesting.
