If I could, I'd traid this brain in my head
For an etch and sketch.
Everytime I want to start over,
I'd just move around a little bit.
If i could, I'd traid my body in for a tree.
I'd sit around all day,
changing with the seasons,
always having the comfort of knowing,
my leaves will be back one day.
I wish i could wake up on a train,
with no memory of anything.
I'd forget who i was,
i would just walk,
only knowing the beauty of the world i see.
Sometimes i wish this formation of cells
was only but liquid.
I'd move all around you,
evaporate into the evening sky.
I'd be back with the rain,
I'd have no need for goodbyes.
If my hands were paper thin,
I'd fold them into origami shapes,
Into paper airplanes and send them away.
They wouldn't be useful in the first place.
If I had any of these things i'd be insane.
So I guess I'm okay,
Yeah, I'll always be okay.
