I should have known
it's not like me to be so stupid
I should have known
if you've done everything else halfway
that this would be just that.

I should have known
when school ended and you didn't call
that you weren't the one for me
I should have known
If you couldn't even kiss me
That this wouldn't last a minute

I should have seen it right away
instead of staying with you
for two whole months
I should have known
when you made no effort to see me
when we had been together so long
and yet I knew nothing about you

I should have known
that friends is all we ever should be
I should have known
you weren't right for me
but now your silence
has given me eyes to see

I should have known
I am a hopeless romantic
and you are a fish
a cold one at that
I should have known
but know I do
so this is goodbye
It's not worth these tears I cry
You should have known

This unfortunately is true. I am trying to break up with him, but I can't get ahold of him which is part of the reason I want to break up in the first place. The irony is not lost on me. +++ZERO+++

Boys are really (i'm not allowed to say the word xD)..... I like the poem, and the way you repeated each beginning line. It kept a nice tempo. Great job! I --(O_O i was typing too fast, and wrote 'i love you'..., rofl, i type before i think of what to type! xP)-- hope you can contact that jerk and end it with him. He couldn't have really believed that the two of you could be in a non interacting relationship?!

this is a really great piece. i like how it's true, pure and simple...yet deep! loved it! oh and check out my writing too ;) but seriously, keep up the amazing work. your other pieces are great too!!
