Not a day goes by that I don’t regret trying to forget yew.
Not a day goes by that I don’t regret burning those photos.
Not a day goes by that I don’t hear those last words: I love yew
And not a day goes by that I forgive yew, for what yew did to my heart.

The author's comments:
This is a poem i wrote about my best friend, Nathan, who committed suicide on July 6th, 2007. He was only 11 years old, and it was quite sudden. He left us all broken-hearted and empty. And some (like me) even depressed. So I write things like these, and they help me deal with his death. Hope yew like. Please comment. And sorry about the spelling mistakes. Im too lazy to check em.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend. Such a tragic experience.

One thing is I was a little confused as to why you used the term "yew" instead of "you" was there significance to that terminology?

Anyway, powerful piece. I could really sense the emotion. Great job!
