You inhabit that place where I close my eyes to sleep.
You are a nightmare.
A nightmare over which I weep.
I do not want to love you
Because I know what you are.
But when you're gone,
You open my scars.
Scars that didn't have to be
Yet you still blame them all on me.
You say that I'm alone.
You think I can't function on my own.
Well, I think you should know
I'm not your poor thing.

Anymore.
You can't look at me and say,
"You're useless without me, poor thing."
Poor Thing.
I'm NOT your poor thing anymore.

Not Yours.
