Forever Rebound
Feeling dumbfounded as i rest my head against your chest.
How could i give in to this bliss every time?
Never did I learn
after all your lies.
Resentment is in my face
after every kiss we endure.
My heart can't take anymore damage.
It has already been bruised to the point where it's black and blue.
Each blow weakens me and leaves behind your marks.
Temptation will always be there,
with every glance i take.
I want something I shouldn't have.
An addict addicted to drugs,
craving more.
You're my addiction,
my drug.
And each time I manage to give in
knowing I won't be your last kiss tonight.
