As a dancer, you work hard year-round just for a few minutes onstage. The seconds you get before the blood, sweat, and tears pay off are some of the most rewarding seconds of your dance career. That moment is filled with anxiety, excitement, panic, and so many more emotions. I try to remind myself to take a deep breath and enjoy getting to do what I love most in the world.
