The Notable O Bounding Fate
O Fate!
It makes us awe of the great fascinations of life
Yet we cannot defy what lies beyond us:
Never able to understand “why” as we get to know “how”
Life—astutely measured in different lengths
Magnificently done by the three daughters of the holy goddess of night
The noteworthy entities of birth, life, and death
Not even the gods dare lift a finger at them!
Novels move tender hearts
Thanks to the elegant strokes of its writer
The one who knows its stories best from start to finish
All followed by the swift sound of the last turning page
Something lingers over the babies in the room
Among these cheerful faces, an unfortunate soul will become no more
When they sleep, their peaceful face is no different from an eternal lull
But the lots have been drawn, and nothing can be done
A balance is needed if one is given life
While a person may run or hold their breath
Feigning ignorance or pleading for mercy
That is not enough to appease the inevitable, O wondrous Death
And there I say, fate is no light matter
Causing one to praise its glory and another to curse its cruelty
But it’s not just affliction we take that makes us who we are;
We must use our agency to the fullest to reach our destination
