I won’t forget about the ice cream truck on sunny days,
I won’t forget hoping the rain would stay and stay,
I won’t forget about playing at the yellow park,
I won’t forget about lighting bugs when it got dark,
I won’t forget the chilly winters and snowy nights,
I won’t forget my little sister and our pointless fights,
I won’t forget going to the pool with my best friend,
I got two summers left and after this high school ends,
I’ll say good bye to memories that I repeat,
I’m gonna have to leave this ground,
Pick up my feet,
Make a home with new memories of my own.
Go to school in a town that I don’t know,
I walk around this place I’ve always known,
The place I’ve grown up to call my home.
There’s s dollar store just around the corner,
There’s a Mickey D’s if you keep walking further.
I pick flowers from the bike path near by,
I’ve lived here long and time will fly,
I got a future coming near and coming fast,
I’m not going to forget about my past.
