A Question of My Sanity
like bells
chiming in the wind
as if you hear me approaching
and how do you know this
how to tell me when to stop
you drop roses on my doorstep
like i lose rings to the sand
inbetween days i lay on your stomach
my favorite verses
sound so sublime
on your rounded lips
the silence kills me so
you're afraid
to enter my mind
and penetrate my intentions
that would be knowing
all my predilections
listen to my ramblings
and encyclopedias
of all the simplistic things
your endless words and topics
aggravates the careful balance
of someone so myopic
we steal glances at the fleeting minutes
while sliding along the dark secrecy
our benefactors do not permit
your kisses add an extra thrill
insatiable hunger i can never fulfill
beads of sweat trickle down my skin
tracing a line where you had been
i'll unleash the plans of suicide
the night i watch you wither and die
