Budgie Bliss
The fluffy feathers of blue, green and yellow,
Light feathers and dark feathers,
Long feathers and short feathers
Soaring through the trees of Australia
Waddling toward the water of a nearby lake
Bathing in a pond to take a quick break
Fluffing out and cuddling together,
Upon a branch they sleep together
Grooming each others feathers,
They chirp and squawk and sing
If you think they’re amazing now, just wait until they take wing!

I've always loved budgies. They are intelligent, social, and beautiful birds. I hope you enjoy this poem about them!
