Apocalypse
Apocalypse
Another emo poem
Yay
I sit on the edge of apocalypse
Waiting for the world to end
Hoping to be born again
I dream of superheroes rising up
Of making friends and falling in love
But I know
At the end of the day
I’ll die alone
Trying to pray
To a god to save me
To bring my cleansing apocalypse
To wash away my belief
To let me mean with my lips
I’m scared to die
Begging for someone to take my life
But in my mind
I’m already gone
Why am I scared of people and words
Words that I’ve said thousands of times
Why am I scared of dying alone
When nothing else is in my mind
I want to love
Love without fear
But I always hide away
Scared
So I beg god for another apocalypse,
One where I let go
I beg god to be born again
With a different soul

Apocalypse sucks. I suck. We deserve each other
