Me then and me now
I believed in something that I thought would lead to only good. Good for me and good for others. Looking ahead and seeing blue skies and glistening green grass and clouds with golden lining ahead charging forward. Even when it got tough, I still believed in the outcome I was searching for.
A crimson string connecting me to what I desire. What I still want to believe in. Only now to see such a white Ideal get stained in blood as I try to cut the thread from the past. No matter how sharp the blade, no matter how much I want to change, the tie can never be severed.
