Rewind
Something forgotten, left behind
Making her wish to hit rewind
a former self she used to know
and all the happiness she used to show
a perfect little girl
with her dressy twirl
Now an angry teen
changed by a world, too mean
contorted by fits of rage
putting herself in center stage
forsaken by love
only finding the type that needs a glove
Nothing of what she used to be
The soul that was so free
from all the pain
now left broken and stained
A look in the mirror was a daily reminder
So blew her thoughs behind her
Now broken on the floor
To remember the pain no more
