Favorite Quote:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world; there is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. We were all born to make manifest the glory of God that's within us - it's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
-Nelson Mandela

I cry for him
That boy who once
Felt loved
And had no need to worry.

I cry for him
Whose mom is lost
In life
And makes him feel guilty.

I cry for him
Cause his heart is good.
He loves
When not returned the favor.

I cry for him
Cause his problems are caused
By troubles
Of others around him.

I cry for him
Cause even when he finds love in a girl
Who's a beauty,
She breaks his heart,
Leaving him scarred
Not caring about the way his mind's turning.

I cry for him
Cause I can do nothing
But sit there in silence
And wishing

That he had a life that was
Easy and he didn't have
To deal with the thoughts
In his mind.

I fear that before our high school years end
That there will be no more of him.
Be it dagger or pistol or capsule or jumping
That in this life I'll lose a dear friend.
