my hate for you is like a shadow,

always present,

yet never there.

i yearn to hate you.

as i yearned for your empty promises.

just as you harmed me.

our memories

play in my head,

like an old piece of film,

thrown away

just to be replaced

as a better version of it’s

as the leaves on a tree
