The Sock
The sock, Poem Two
I had to watch her.
I fell asleep and woke up.
I saw her eat it.
She ate your sock.
I couldn’t feel bad.
It wasn’t my sock to begin with.
We played with the sock.
She pulled and I pulled.
It ripped.
Now, you will learn to pick up your socks.
And never have matched ones again.

This piece was created by my younger sister throwing her socks everywhere and she always has unmatched ones. I decided it would maybe make someone smile or laugh.
