A place above the clouds
Behind the golden sun
Is the palace of heaven
Where the glorious God
Rejects the regretful cry
Of those who chose hell

I fell into this brimstone hell
Through the empty clouds
In freefall no one heard me cry
Desperate sound is burned by the sun
Looking the other way, deaf God
And his blind angles were in heaven.

And that glorious palace of heaven
Shrunk like a mothers’ love, as I crashed in hell
No palace, or house, or feild, but a new God
With horns shrouded in dark red clouds
and in the sky hung a black sun
I was swallowed by a surrounding eternal cry.

Fear and pity drowned me as I wanted to cry
I wished to take it back, to be in heaven
Oh what I would give to see the golden Sun
To retreat from the freezing flames of Hell
A prayer nearly escaped my lips while blined from clouds
Almost begging please oh please take me back God

The horns swayed "Why did you betray God?
Will you join the millions who give useless cry?”
A gleeful voice from the twisted clouds.
"Will you grovel for redemption in heaven?
Will you fight to abscond my hell?
Will you claw your way to the gated sun?"

Horned silhouette still masked by the black sun
Shrilling cackles pierce my spine “Here I am God
And this is my home, it's famed name hell
So let me hear you weep, gnash, and cry,
For you will never feel Heaven”
But my repy cut through the knotted clouds.

“Oh Devil, I see through your dark clouds.
I am no fool who will cry.
I was the one betrayed by God.
I do not want the lie of heaven.
And I do not fear your hell.”
