Marriage
Sad Dad walked his girl
She had tears of glee and glum
Her hand changed her life
The charming white dress
showed the peace in the girl's mind
Her hair was no mess
Guy was excited
Which made the Dad so frightened
But he had no choice
Dad's glad for his girl
And her brand new life ahead
He wore a slight smile
The Guy's big sisters
Had planned a prank to trick them
But could not do so
The learned tester came
Looked at the Girl and the Guy
And chanted his words
Then, came out a juice,
then hugs, talks and rushes
Soon they headed out
A fancy car arrived
Went in the girl and the guy
life is shining new

Absolutely love it!
And Thank you for your appreciation too because It brightened my day...All you have to do is to be the person who you want the emotion of and then, feel the situation and just write it down and you know, edit, cut and stuff...
You too write well and I even read the book which you write the review about...
Thanks again...★★★
My name is Afra. I was born on the 29th of December. I am a Sri Lankan currently residing in Kandy, Sri Lanka. I dedicate my poem to My Dad, Mom, Ameer Uncle, Paji Aunty, my Granny Janufa Reyal, Khaniz Umma, Soodha Umma, Awrah, Amdhi, Aara, Sathvika and My late Grandpa Rahmath Appa. If they weren't there, my poem won't be here. And I also dedicate this to all the readers of Teen Ink.
I chose to write about marriage because due to Covid, we are not able to attend marriage ceremonies. In a marriage, all relatives get together and have an interaction which never happens everyday. I really miss those good old days before Covid and I do wish that this pandemic would end soon. Stay safe, dear readers.
