A story has as many versions as it has readers - Winter Of Our Discontent

Your face makes me forget my mistakes

Your eyes cling to my goodbyes

Your mouth makes me lose doubt

Your heart tears me apart

For you will never love me

The author's comments:

This is a piece about a person who I love that will never love back. I wanted to post this here because I understand how bad heartbreak can feel and I hope this poem is relateable. Have a good day, and know that you are not alone in your feelings.

Thanks! Even though this piece isn't that long, I tried to put as much emotion into it as I could.
