We’ve all seen the stars
And how they make constellations
But that’s just what we perceive to be a connection
Just like how you and me feel affection through tension
And just like the stars, we go in different directions
Just like walking away from our reflections
And I know it's completely different dimensions
But I have a confession
It gives me depression
When there is no progression
And that's why I don't like constellations connecting
I find it upsetting having to meet expectations of understanding
And standing connected to you, as a constellation
That's your misunderstanding of what I really am
