Waco MAG
The dry grass crunches beneath my feet
Weeds tangling themselves around my shoes
I stand in front of the vast spread of land
Empty and dead
Littered with memories from the past
The concrete barrier lies in ruins
Just heaps of garbage on the ground
The metal poles thrown about
Once held this building together
Strong, mysterious, and majestic
Tiny pieces of the past
How has it all fallen apart
Everything seemed so strong
So secure
But questions broke it down
Down to the rubble in front of me
Why didn't they leave
Before their demise
