Scars

You’ve ripped my heart out
Leaving me on the floor
A hole left in my chest
Struggling to stay alive
You stand there
Squeezing my heart
Blood gushing out
Trickling slowly down your arm
Dripping to the ground
Puddle of red at your feet
You pretend nothing happened
I’m gasping for air
Trying to hold onto life
You take no notice
Put my broken heart
In it’s correct place
Stitch up the gashes
Then walk away like
Nothing has happened
Not bothering to fix my heart
My scars displayed
Showing the world
What you have done
Those scars will forever
Remain with me
Just a painful reminder of you

Stunning. The imagery in here brings the poem to life! I like how you left the "you" person vague, so it could be anyone or anything. Very impressive!
