A burning flame
A starry night
A desperate wind
A lover's plight
"Take flight, take flight"
she says to he
he does not move
he waits for me
Upon arrival
of my godly walk
the flame dims
the door i lock
My stern look
religious hands
she covers away
her love disbands
the lone lover
becomes aware
the flame, the candle
no longer there
