Waking up to yelling voices
Feeling numb inside
Trying to drown it out
I stay in my room to hide
I watch the rest get scolded
For things they haven’t done
Of all the children to be forgotten
I am the only one
Walking downstairs on eggshells
Trying to lay low
So much anger in one place
Am I the only one to know?
My headphones are my friends
Kill sadness with song
Sometimes I wonder
Where did I go wrong?
Arguing all the time
Please leave me alone!
What happened to the place
I used to call home?
