I pretend the wind against my lips
Is your kiss.
I pretend the warmth of the sun
Is your embrace.
I pretend the rain is the rhythm
Of your beating heart
And I pretend it beats for me.
I pretend the mirrors are your eyes
I pretend this sweater is your arms
I pretend the grassy ground
Is your body
And upon laying,
I pretend the making of our music.
