Here Comes the Darkness

I'm going under,
falling into nothing.
It suffocates me slowly.
-Stops- Am I breathing?
Barely, but I'll make it.
It's a mind game anyways,
probably just my imagination
running wild.
Going crazy.
I'm crazy.
-Ponders- Am I?
I have to be, to think that
this "darkness" is out to get me.
But what else could this be?
Other than disease?
Other than mistake?
I hold the pieces of broken promise
in my bare hands.
-Questions- Do I dare fix it?
-Truth?- I don't know.

this has some meaning behind it, eventhough she/he may have ment it in a different way but i like how it can be interprated in many different ways so that the reader can take it in and understand it.
