body like water
I close my eyes,
And wait for music to start.
Sway to the rhythm of my soul and my heart.
Can’t stop moving,
I don’t have a choice,
It hits my blood and I loose my voice.
Loose my will,
And loose my mind,
It’s all the same,
And one of a kind.
Back and forth across the floor,
My body moves like water.
The notes hit me like waves hit the shore,
The heat of the lights gets hotter.
The music stops.
The spell is shattered.
Shards fly by like glass.
Until the magic starts again,
I rest, and I wait for the silence to pass.
