Death Overcomes Her
It is too bad you could not stay though you were a good friend
You were just a chickadee taken for the best
If god needs you now then join his nest
I will cry and cry every day that goes by
I will never forget the good example that you have set
How could you have gone and left me now
Every day I wonder how oh how
Had I not been sweet to you
I thought that I was really true
Since you are gone I will have to suffer
Death does overcome her.

I really like this poem. It has nice flow and great comparisons.
